As per the custom the seminary community made a pilgrimage to Malayattoor, the International Pilgrim center in the name of St. Thomas the Apostle who spread first the faith in Christ in India. The hill is believed to be one of the places where the saint frequently visited for personal prayer and it has been a pilgrim place for centuries. The community started from the seminary by 3.00 pm by bus to the St. Thomas Church Malayattoor and from there to the Kurishumudy by walking. It was an occasion to remember our father in faith and an occasion to perform penance in the season of lent remembering our sins. At Kurishumudy we had ‘nercha kanji’ and it was followed by a spiritual reflection by Rev. Fr. Job SAC.
