Mangalapuzha seminary celebrated her ‘Home Day’ on 7th November 2021. The day began with the thanksgiving Holy Mass concelebrated by all the seminary staff with Very Rev. Fr. Rector as the main celebrant. At noon, the joy of being a family was solemnized with a prayer service conducted at the main chapel together with the invited guests who included the superiors of various congregations, benefactors, sisters, day scholars, and so on. The day came to an end with a family gathering of all the teaching staff, seminarians, and the non–teaching staff of the seminary at John Joseph OCD Hall. Very Rev. Fr. Rector, in his felicitation message, reminded the gathering about the interconnectedness of all by the bond of the spiritual family rather than a biological family and Dn. Tharun Cherukattuparambil representing the students extended the greetings of the day. On this occasion, the seminary honored the children of the non-teaching staff, who achieved academic excellence. The students of philosophy presented a cultural programme on the mutual love of the members in a home as the constituent factor in making it really a home. It was followed then by a solemn dinner with the whole seminary community.
